The Flourish line of twelve
formulas encompasses the most fundamental body-soul healing issues
facing people of all ages and lifestyles, including foundational
remedies for animal care. While each formula has a specific keynote,
the entire Flourish line encompasses a broad-based healing approach
for those new to flower essence therapy, or for those who require
basic catalysts to initiate a healing response.
The Flourish formulas
are available in spray bottles for ease of application and sanitation,
i.e., sharing one bottle in relief work, during times of natural
disasters, in busy clinics, etc. Animal Rescue Formula and Illumine
are also available individually in 1-oz. dropper bottles. [NOTE:
Upon request, Healing Waters will provide a 1 oz dropper top that
you can use to replace the spray top if desired.]

Each formula represents
years of research and careful consideration in order to develop
efficacious, synergistic components that form a greater wholeness.
Many factors are taken
into consideration in the development of each formula, including
botanical signature, color, form and environmental habitat of
the flowers, as well as key healing themes and flower affinities
demonstrated through years of clinical research.
Each Flourish formula
is designed to address foundational body-soul healing issues.
Their role is to clear and stabilize, so that more individualized
flower essences can be of greater impact.
The Flourish formulas
are easy to understand and select for self-healing, or can be
used as entry level remedies for large populations in clinics,
hospitals or relief centers.
Each formula is carefully
calibrated and hand-potentized by FES with meditation, prayer
and positive dedication. As each petal contributes to the whole
flower, each component of the Flourish formulas is alchemically
combined to form a greater whole that shines with radiance and
clarity.
All of the ingredients
in each Flourish formula are grown and formulated according
to the highest standards of purity and integrity. They are certified
Biodynamic®, with certified organic and ethically wild-harvested

This formula was developed by Richard Katz
in the aftermath of the tragedies of September 11, 2001. We have entered
a time of great uncertainty. How do we meet violence and hatred without
creating more suffering? How can we find peace within when we are
surrounded by conflict? This new formula is intended to remind us
of our true sources of faith and equanimity, so we that may be a power
for peace in a troubled world. It includes Angelica, Oregon Grape,
Rock Rose, Indian Pink, Red Clover and California Valerian. Indications:
for anxiety and fear during times of crisis; strength and clarity
to remain calm in chaotic circumstances when others are in a state
of panic or reaction.
Gaia Green
This formula attracts elemental forces
to re-inhabit damaged areas of earth. It stimulates the green heart
forces within the human being in relationship to the heart forces
of the living earth, bringing balance to homes, communities, gardens,
bodies of water and land that are devastated and depleted. Composed
entirely of rare green flowers, the Gaia Green formula nourishes and
stimulates green forces of growth, life and renewed elemental activity.
Includes Green Rein Orchid, Green Bells of Ireland, Lady’s Mantle,
Green Rose, Green Cross Gentian and Green Nicotiana.
Grief Relief
This formula was developed by Richard Katz
in response to the tragic events of September 11, 2001. It combines
a triad of pink flowers that bring solace and strength to the heart,
and a triad of blue flowers that uplift and restore hope.
Indications: despair,
grief, discouragement, hopelessness after a personal or collective
tragedy or loss
Dosage: four drops taken
under the tongue at least four times daily, as often as every few
minutes during an immediate crisis. Strength of dosage is increased
by the frequency of the dosage, not the amount. It is not necessary
to take more than four drops at a time, but there is no danger of
overdose from taking more.

Formula:
Bleeding Heart - This is a
leading flower essence whenever there is a sense of separation or
loss. When we lose a loved one, we feel as if a part of ourselves,
a piece of our own heart, has been ripped asunder. Bleeding
Heart essence allows us to fully feel our loss and then release and
accept it. We can then find within ourselves those qualities
that we so loved in our beloved, and out of that realization come
to know the wholeness that is at our core.
Pink Yarrow - When our heart
is torn open by pain, we can become acutely sensitive to the emotions
of others, so much so that it may be difficult to distinguish our
own feelings. Pink Yarrow gives strength and integrity to our
emotional body when it is stretched thin by sorrow.
California Wild Rose - Sometimes
our pain can be so great that we lose our enthusiasm for life itself.
We may become apathetic or even suicidal. The California Wild Rose
essence helps us to accept that pain is part of the experience of
being embodied and ensouled human beings. It is an opportunity
for the development of our forces of love and compassion.
Explorer's Gentian - This
botanical relative of Dr. Bach's Gentian is also indicated for discouragement
and despair. It is one of the latest blooming wildflowers of
the high mountains of the western US, with brilliant blue flowers
that contract with the dried-up remnants of most other plants at that
time. This essence helps overcome a feeling of world-weariness that
is often a part of the aging process, but which can also strike us
when we feel the pain of personal or collective loss. The Explorer's
Gentian connects us with our spiritual source of purpose, which can
become a source of strength and rejuvenation.
Borage - The sky-blue star
flowers of the Borage have long had a reputation for uplifting the
heavy heart when we are discouraged or disheartened. This is
the essence for the grief experience, for the time when we need to
release the heaviness of our loss, and allow buoyance to lighten our
feeling of burden. It is not a superficial kind of good cheer
that is sought, but rather a reconnection to the natural optimism
and enthusiasm that is our spiritual birthright.
Forget-Me-Not - This delicate
member of the Borage plant family can take us the next step in the
journey through grief. Forget-Me-Not essence sensitizes our
souls to our connections across the threshold of death. The
loved ones who have departed this world are still connected to us
by bonds of care and love. If the grief we feel for our loss
obscures the possibility of this new form of relationship, then we
actually cause suffering for those whom we have loved. The Forget-Me-Not
helps us to make a transition from grief to a new form of loving connection,
which can uplift those of us on both sides of the spiritual divide.
Magenta Healer
The Magenta color, which combines the red
and violet “ends” of the color spectrum, is an expression
of vibrant and vitalizing energy. Flower essences from magenta-colored
flowers often work with themes of rejuvenation and healing. The Magenta
Healer formula was developed by Patricia Kaminski to revitalize those
depleted by illness, injury or trauma, and consists of five flowers
of various hues of magenta including Self-Heal, Sierra Primrose, Echinacea,
Pedicularis, and Love-Lies-Bleeding. Indications: for regeneration,
recuperation, revitalization
Magenta Mantle
Personal and Environmental Regeneration
The Magenta Mantle was initially introduced
in response to the Oakland, California, fire in 1991. This catastrophic
fire destroyed 300 homes, devastating the land, the community, and
many people's lives. Magenta Mantle helped a number of people
to cope with their loss, to reclaim land that had been devastated
by fire, and to build new bonds of community. Since then, this
formula has been used in many places in the world for environmental
regeneration.
Magenta is a color strongly associated with living forces of nature.
The etheric mantle of the earth and the life mantle of the healthy
human body bears this color. Magenta is at once cooling and
warming. If we imagine color as a wheel, various shades of Magenta
are the bridge between red and violet. From the perspective
of color dynamics, magenta is a color that has experienced the depth,
or "fire" process, of the earth. It then emerges like a phoenix
toward the spirit again. This is why Magenta is often regarded
in color therapy as a "resurrection" color.
Magenta Mantle is a synergistic chord of five flower essences that
restore vitality and etheric regeneration after any experience of
destruction and trauma. It is especially correlated with devastation
involving the fire element or related fiery characteristic (such as
destruction by bombing). The Earth is a container for human
suffering. When a disaster occurs, our Earth bears not only
physical harm, but also carries our psychic pain. Healing from
a disaster is thus more than an individual task. This formula
helps reestablish the shattered bonds of life that knit together self,
community, and the environment.
Magenta Mantle can be taken internally for personal use but can also
be used to restore life forces in the surrounding home and peripheries
of land. For wider applications, misting or spraying of the
formula is recommended.
Indications: physical
and emotional devastation caused by natural and man-made disasters.

Add 12 drops to a misting bottle of water and use as a spray
Add 6 drops per ounce to cream or lotion and apply to the skin
Formula
Fireweed - This is the key essence in the Magenta Mantle Environmental
formula. The Fireweed plant is a healer for the earth, growing
up quickly after a devastating forest fire or, as in London during
the Second World War, after man-made destruction. The Fireweed
essence brings rejuvenation and hope when we feel devastated by loss
and destruction.
Self-Heal - Self-Heal works
at the core of any healing process, awakening our etheric life forces,
as well as building confidence and strength in the healing process.
It has tremendous regenerative and restorative qualities.
Red Clover - Herbal Red Clover
has long been known as a blood cleanser and purification remedy. Red
Clover flower essence is a psychic cleanser, clearing us from such
emotional and mental "toxins" as fear, panic, or hatred. In
times of economic and political crisis, war, and natural disaster,
it becomes difficult to maintain our won center of awareness, and
we can easily be swept away in an undertow of mass emotion, often
manipulated by propaganda and demagoguery. Red Clover essence
helps us find our own center of calm certainty and clarity so that
we can join in helping others as a force for healing and strength.
Echinacea - The physical immune
system provides protection and preserves the essential integrity of
the body. Herbal Echinacea is famous as an immune-system enhancer.
When faced with shattering events, the Echinacea flower essence builds
"psychic immunity" by restoring integrity, individuality, and identity.
Sweet Pea - This low-growing
vine climbs and clings to fences and other plants. Considered
an escaped garden plant in many locales, the wild Sweet Pea is never
found far from human habitation. Sweet Pea essence is about
our relationship to community and to the place where we live.
It is an important essence for restoring one's sense of "place" on
the earth, especially when the relationship to home and community
has been disrupted.
Both Red Clover and Sweet Pea are members of the legume family of
plants. These plants are know as "nitrogen fixers," helping
to rehabilitate the soil by adding fertility and drawing the air element
into earth. In the Magenta Mantle, these two flower essences
play a powerful synergistic role in helping both the individual and
the soil develop new etheric force.
World Service
This formula was developed by Richard
Katz in response to the horrific events of September 11, 2001.
As we celebrate the bravery and heroism of the many people who responded
to this tragedy, some of whom lost their lives in the process, we are
each called upon to examine how we can serve in a time of world crisis.
We must call upon our sources of strength, leadership, and courage,
tempered with sensitivity and understanding in order to answer the call
to world service..
Indications: for those
called upon for leadership, strength, and heroism in the service of
others.
Dosage: four drops taken
under the tongue at least four times daily, as often as every few minutes
during an immediate crisis. Strength of dosage is increased by
the frequency of the dosage, not the amount. It is not necessary
to take more than four drops at a time, but there is no danger of overdose
from taking more.
You may also:
Place 20 drops in bath water and circulate in a figure-eight motion
Add 12 drops to a misting bottle of water and use as a spray
Add 6 drops per ounce to cream or lotion and apply to the skin
Formula:
Tall Mountain Larkspur - This wildflower can grow taller than
a human being as it stands majestically in the high mountain meadows.
It is an especially strong expression of the Larkspur essence's qualities
of leadership, for those who must stand tall during times of crisis
and inspire others with their enthusiasm and active leadership.
Yarrow - Achillea millefolium is named for the Greek
warrior Achilles. This common wild flower is a famous vulnerary
herb and was traditionally carried into battle to staunch bleeding wounds
and for spiritual protection. The Yarrow flower essence gives
strength and integrity to the human aura so that we can remain open
an sensitive, yet protected from malefic influences around us.
Yellow Star Tulip - A member
of the Lily family, this California wildflower is the picture of sensitivity.
Its inner coating of fine hairs has earned it the name of "Cat's Ears."
Unlike the coastal Star Tulip, this species boasts a vibrant, outgoing
yellow color. It brings our sensitivity to our relationships so
that we can feel the effects of our actions on others. This capacity
of empathy and compassion for the suffering of others is crucial in
a time of conflict, when our sense of righteousness can often blind
us to the full impact of our thoughts, words, and actions.
Olive - Dr. Bach's Olive remedy
brings strength and endurance in a long struggle. When we feel weary
and exhausted, Olive essence helps us tap into a source of strength
beyond our limited physical resources and draw sustenance from our connection
to the spiritual world.
Red Penstemon - This vibrant
red wildflower, growing on the edges of rocky cliffs, fires our will
and physical courage to face the trials and sacrifice that are called
for in times of crisis.
Mountain Pride - Growing right
out of the granite rocks of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the red-magenta
Mountain Pride is a trumpet of strength and courage when we face adversity.
It calls upon the archetype of the spiritual warrior -- one who fights
for truth, who is not afraid to stand up to adversity and evils, but
who acts from a calm inward knowing free of hatred or personal ambition.
