Flower essences are a gentle form of treatment,
unique in their ability to address physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual aspects simultaneously. They offer complete healing.
Flower essences are usually made by a delicate
process of attunement, in which sunlight creates a transference of
the flower's vibration into water, resulting in a potent healing essence
like a kind of liquid energy. Flower medicine has been known to man
for many thousands of years for its calming effect on the mind and
emotions.
When one is very sensitive and open to
nature, it is clear that plants and their flowers each have their
own character and qualities. When taken as an essence, these can resonate
with, and awaken the same qualities within a person. Nature offers
us complete healing, restoring balance and well-being, allowing us
to awaken to the truth of our wholeness and interconnectedness with
all of life.
To Use:
Usually essences are taken orally - first shaking the bottle then
placing a few drops under the tongue. Take a few moments to turn inward
and feel the effects within. They can also be rubbed directly on the
skin, added to skin creams and massage oils, added to baths and to
water in mister sprays (4-5 drops from the stock bottle is enough).
The spray method is excellent for clearing and refreshing rooms around
the house.
(Flower essences can be taken in conjunction
with orthodox medicine, or after a course of medicine, to help relieve
adverse effects and rebalance the body's energy system.)

Each description in Box 1 includes a Haiku
chosen by Tanmaya, who chose to use Haikus rather than affirmations
as a meditation for the chakras, as a haiku in the hands of a Zen
Master is a verbal pictorial image that takes one deeper and deeper
into the present, into awareness. Affirmations may help to change
belief patterns or recondition the mind, but awareness is a space
of infinite potential.

of an old neem tree growing beside the ancient Tantric temples
of Khajuraho. It helps integrate mind body and spirit, and
